FINE, RATHER MILD WEATHER.

.By Telegraph.—Tress Association. Wellington, Last Night. The weather will be mainly fair and rather milder but there will be some showers about Foveaux Strait and on parts of the west coast. A slight anticyclone is crossing the Dominion today. Pressure is again high over southeastern Australia, but there are indications of the development of a cyclone on the New South Wales coast. Winds will be light to moderate and variable, with south-westerlies prevailing north of Cape Egmont and Napier and west to north-west elsewhere. There will still be a considerable southerly swell south of East Cape, but the sea otherwise will be smooth to moderate.
