BUTTER AND CHEESE VERY SLOW. MIDWEEK REPORT FROM LONDON. .lie butter .and cheese market in London on Tuesday was very slow. Quotations for butter, Messrs. Dalgety and Company were advised, were: Danish, 172 s to 176 s (176 s to 180 s the previous week); New Zealand finest salted, 158 s to 160 s (160 s to 1645); Australian finest unsalted, 164 s to 168 s (166 s to 170 s); Australian finest salted, 154 s to 158 s (158 s to 1625); Australian G.A.Q., 150 s to 152 s (154 s to 1565). Cheeso prices were: —New Zealand white, 87s to SBs (88s to 89s); New Zealand coloured, 86s to 87s (87s to 88s); spot price for Canadian white, 94s to 98s (94s to 98s); spot price for Canadian coloured, 94s to 98s (94s to 98s).
