WEATHER WILL IMPROVE.
By Telegraph.—Frew Association. Wellington, Last Night.- ■■ The weather will still be changeable and rather unsettled, with scattered showers, but an improvement is expected. There will be cold temperatures with some frosts inland in the South Island. Winds will be ■ south-west to south-east and moderate to strong generally and squally at times in Cook Strait. Seas will be moderate to rather rough generally, but both wind and sea will moderate.
