SATURDAY’S LEAGUE EVENTS SNOWDEN MESSENGER CHAMPION. ELLIS WINS JUNIOR HONOUR. With ideal cycling conditions two cycle races were decided on Saturday under the auspices of the New Plymouth League Cycle Club. H. Snowden decisively V on the messenger boys-(un-der 16) championship of New Plymouth,, also the sealed handicap, while A. Ellis was a class above the other juniors,-rid-ing splendidly to make up a Ifrain. break from the next group, unassisted. Snoriden and L. Stevens tied for points in the final of the series of messengers’ races; Snowden receives first prize and Stevens runner-up. The following officials were on duty: Judges, Messrs W. Yardley, E.
