Mr. Bert Hinkler has been awarded the Britannia trophy, which is permanently housed at the Royal Aero Club, for the best flight during 1928.

Mr. Hinkler left Croydon on February 7, 1928, and reached Darwin on February 22, after 15j days’ flight.
