The John arrived at New Plymouth from Lyttelton and Wellington yesterday and should sail to-day for Port Waikato and Lyttelton where she will undergo overhaul. (Holm and Co.). The Progress left Dunedin Thursday for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington and New Plymouth. She is due on Wednesday and proceeds to Port Waikato. (Holm and Co.). NEW PLYMOUTH-ONE HUNGA FERRY Tho Ngapuhi is due. at. New Plymouth this morning with passengers and cargo from Onehunga and is to return tonight. She is expected at New Plymouth again on Tuesday, according to her usual time-table, and returns that night. DEPARTURES OF BOATS IN PORT. Of the vessels being worked at the port the Newton Pine is expected to complete discharge of phosphate to-day and sail for Wanganui. The Kia Ora should complete loading dairy produce and meat to-night and sail for Wanganui to continue on Sunday morning. The King Gruffyd will not finish putting out slag before Tuesday, when she sails for Westport and Fremantle. HORORATA'S LOADING REDUCED. The Hororata, due at New Plymouth on August 3 to put out 2485 tons of general London cargo, will load only 13,700 freight carcases of meat for London, 6000 less than was previously announced. TRANS PACIFIC CARGO SERVICE. The Wairuna, loading at Pacific Coast ports for New Zealand, left Vancouver yesterday for Ocean Falls, San Francisco i and Los Angeles, which she is expected Ito clear on August 8. She will bring cargo for Lyttelton, Dunedin, Nelson, New Plymouth and Napier and is due at Lyttelton on September 4 and at New Plymouth late in the month. The Waihemo is at present discharging Pacific Coast cargo at Bluff, whence she will proceed to Dunedin and New Plymouth.
