FIREMEN OVERCOME BY FUMES.
By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. Sydney, July 26. Damage estimated at £6OOO was done by a fire sweeping through a large portion of the Silvarite Glass Company’s premises at Camperdown. At one stage it seemed likely that the whole block would bo wiped out, but the filemen effected a good save. A fireman was overcome by the fumes while in the blazing building and was dragged to safety by his mates. He was subsequently sent to the hospital. Sevial others were also affected
