KIDNER-BOOTTEN.
The wedding was solemnised in Whiteley Memorial Church, New Plymouth, by the Rev. Eaton on V’-dnesday, July 23, of Anderenr, second daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Boottcn, former residents of Matapu, and Douglas John, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Kidner, Taunton, Somerset, England. The bride, who was escorted into the church by her uncle, Mr. J. T ’ootten, Eltham, wore a smart fawn tailored costume with hat and shoes to tone, ami carried a bouquet of cream r •, lily of the valley and maidenhair fern. The bridesmaid was Miss Grace Mickelson, niece of tho bride, who wore a pretty frock of apricot chenille and fawn hat trimmed with apricot panne velvet. She carried a bouquet of pink roses and autumn leaves. Miss Irene Guy, who attended as flower girl, wore a dainty little frock of blue satin with rosebud trimming and tulle cap to match. She carried a Victorian posy. The best man v as Mr. Ralph Kidner, brother of the bridegroom.
