Percy Hallinan, aged 20, whose parents reside at Featherston, was picked up unconscious near Mahoenui, on the main road, on Tuesday night. His danv. aged motor-cycle, which had smashed into the railing of a small bridge, was lying alongside the injured man, who was cycling from Wanganui to Te Awamutu to visit a brother. Ho is in Te Kuiti with injuries to his head, and his condition is serious. The accident was not witnessed, and it is presumed the cycle skidded and struck the railing.
