MAIN ROAD BRIDGE UNSAFE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wai mate, Last Night. . The rainfall in various parts of th® Waimate district varies from three to over four inches for the period commencing on Afonday last. All the creeka are in flood and the county council has issued a warning against using the Alain North Road at Pareora bridge owing to flood damage, also in regard to Brassil’s bridge across the Uppei Pareora, and the Station Peak road between Waihao Downs and Kurow. Rain is still falling, though it if easing somewhat.
