GOVERNOR ON WEST COAST
INSPECTIONS AT WESTPORT. By Telegraph—Press Association.' Westport, Last Night. The Governor-General and Lady Fergusson arrived from Greymouth at 5 p.m. and to-morrow will make a tour of Westport, inspecting properties damaged by tho earthquake, including th< primary and technical high schools, ths hospital, the old people’s home, St Mary’s Convent and the O’Connor Home, The next day will be spent in a toui of the mining townships, including Seddonville.
Just on the arrival of their Excellencies Westport staged a big, sustained shake and minor tremors. Tremors hav< been experienced throughout the day.
