Telegraph. —Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. There will be moderate to fresh southerly winds, shortly becoming variable and later tending to northerly. The sea will still have a considerable swell on tho East Coast but that will moderate and seas otherwise will be smooth to moderate. Tho weather will still be showery in scattered places, but. fine weather will soon prevail. There will bo cold temperatures with many frosts. Somo snowfall is likely on the ranges in tho northern part of the South Island.
