FARMER PROPHESIES DECREASE. By Telegraph-Press Association. Dunedin, July 10. Mr. J. D. Revie, president of the Otago Farmers’ Union, expressed the opinion at an executive mee ting that sheepowners would have to accept even .lower wool values in the 1929-30 season. There were disquieting signs also in the meatindustry, indicating less satisfactory returns The farming community must co-ordinate all efforts to reduce production and marketing costs. That was their only effective insurance.
