RIGHT HOSPITAL SYSTEM

DIRECTOR-GENERAL’S VIEW. By Telegraph—Press Association Auckland, July 6. Dr, T. H. A. Valintine, DirectorGeneral of Health, returned by the lonic to-day, having attended the Congress of Hygiene International at Paris. He is satisfied that New Zealand hospitals are on right lines, and have the proper system in vogue. “Moreover,” he says, “we have a system of administration older countries like England and Scotland, could copy with advantage. Their difficulties are that they have no assured finance such as we have in New Zealand. They have to depend almost entirely upon public generosity and benefactions.”
