FRANCO-BRITISH NAVY PLAN
ITALY NOTIFIES DISAPPROVAL. By Telegraph—Pres# Assn.—Copyright. Received. Oct. 8, 7.5 p.m. London, Oct. 7. A message from Paris says the Italian reply to the Franco-British naval agreement has been received at Paris, and is expected to create a storm. Virtually it accuses England and France of combining to control the Mediterranean, The Morning Post’s Paris correspondent says the Note makes it elear that the proposals are not acceptable to Italy.
