ART UNION FRAUD.

TICKETS ON MELBOURNE CL P. Ui Telecraph. Press Association. Dunedin, Nov. 25. Henry Thomas Walker, in the Police Court to-day. was fined 40s and costs for having sold Australian Art Union tickets in a Melbourne Cup consultation. The police stated that they believed it wa-> an art union fraud. Defendant said he returned the money when he heard it wa.s not genuine. The Alagistrate stated that he defendant was liable to a line of £2OO.
