REFORM PARTY.
ORGANISING FOR GENERAL ELECTION. Mr. D. Hebenton, organiser for the Reform Party, addressed a well-attend-ed meetng of supporters in St. Mary’s Hall on Thursday evening. A great many new members were enrolled for the New Plymouth branch of the Reform League, and 42 delegates were selected to attend the conference on Tuesday. The organiser addressed a meeeting of supporters in the Hurworth Ball last night. Tins evening there will be a meeting at the Lepperton Hall, and on Monday evening supporters of the party are invited to a meeting in the haH at Okato. •If. Hebenton states that as a result of his tour of the electorate he is quite satisfied , that, with organisation, the seat can be won for Reform at the next election. TWO NAMES MENTIONED. It is understood that Mr. C. E. Bellfinger, who contested the seat at the 4ast general e?cction, and Mr. S. Vickers, farmer, of Omaita, have been nominated to come before a meeting of delegates representative of all parts of the constituency to be held on Tuesday, the Hith inst., when the Reform candidate Cor the next election will be selected.
