The book written by Captain Foster, master of the Trevessa, entitled, “Seventeen Hundred Miles in an Open Boat,” was published to-day. The newspapers contain appreciative notices of the thrilling tale of the adventure of the Trevessa, which was compiled from a pocket book, which was entered daily during the twenty-three daye of the life-boat’s voyage.
