FOB. BUSINESS FIRST. A pretty and practical duatfog set consists of overalls and cap as pictured. Chemise strap yoke, ana very roomy armholes are features. The cap is simply a square knotted at the back.

FOR HOME-KEEPERS. Use gingham Or art silk ratine for this house frock. Cuffs, collar and front of white organdie. Just the style of frock so many women run up at home.

A FANCIFUL JUMPER. Marocain with a finish of contrasting colour and some embroidery make, a tancltui jumper under Lolong's direction. Copy this to follow an authorative Paris lead. •

USING DAD’S HANKEY. This illustrates how fancy handkerchiefs are serving a new purpose in Paris. The idea is, of course, for summer only. Very smart when skilfully selected.

Handkerchiefs which are intended for use rather than for pure ®rna. ment are nearly all made of the finest of linen, being further embel. lished by the addition of delicate’ hand embroidery.

Some have a pattern showing birds, beasts and flowers in wonderful incrustation work spread over one corner; others have butterflies and insects of all species made of net, and with wings made of exquisite silk stitthery inlet into the corner. A plainer type is in white with an over-sewn colored border, the color being chosen to match the main color scheme of one’s hat or dress.

The owner’s initials are encased in i quaint little frame of stitching, worked in a color to match that of the border.
