OPIUM SMOKER FINED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington. March 7. A Chinese laundryman. Ah Lym. was charged in the Magistrate’s Court toylay with having been found in possession of opium in a form suitable for smoking. Defendant had a previous convictipn for a similar offence, and was fined £3O and costs. He wds given 21 days to find the money.
