BIBLE IN SCHOOL HOURS.
AUCKLAND TEACHERS OPPOSED By Telegraph.—-Press Association Auckland, Last Night. The Auckland branch of the Educational Institute, with one dissentient,passed a resolution affirming opposition to the resolution carried by the Do*.’ minion conference in favor of the introduction of Bible reading in schools during school hours. It was contended that the conference resolution was contrary to the vote of the majority of branches, and was taken when a large number of* delegates had left for their home®.
