FINAL OF BREWSTER CUP.
Tile final of the Bro water Challenge Cup (match play under hand.cap) wa<*. played on the New Plymouth Club’s linka yesterday between Misa Rundle and Mias Thomson, the latter receiving eight strokes from her opponent. Miss Thomson played a very fine round (taking 97 strokes), and defeated Miss Rundlo by 4up and 3. The players had twice previously contested the final, when thei games ended all square. LADIES’ CHAMPIONSHIP. The results of the second round of the ladies’ championship are as follows: —« Mfs. Johns defeated Mias Gavin 4 up and 3. Miss Rundle defeated Miss Thomson 7 up and 5. Miss Rollo defeated Mrs. Burke 6 up and 5. Misa Brewster defeated Miss Bremer 7 up and 6. ECLECTIC MATCH. The eclectic match over 15 holes for limit handicap players for Mrs. Blackley’s trophy resulted as follows: —-Mrs. Pearless 90,* Mrs. W. C. W eaten 04, Miss 0. Shaw 94, Mrs. Hill 96, Mrs. Perry 97, and Mrs. Chriatoffel 09.
