Miss Cuthbertson, of Toko, for £2 3s, costs 14s. The case of Mary MeJsah v. Duncan McNab was a claim for tO arrears of maintenance, and defendant was lined £2, the arrears having been paid into court.

John Thomas Attrill, general carrier, of Eltham, was charged with procuring liquor at the. Eltham Hotel, he being under the age of 21 years. The Magistrate pointed out that not only had Attrill oommitted a breach of the law, but his action was not a sporting one, inasmuch as he was placing the licensee of the hotel in a dangerous position.
