Reserves for croßsbreds weTe lowered, but combing merinos are still too high. Prices generally were unchanged.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. NORTH ISLAND SALES. FIRST ROUND ABANDONED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night.' The first round of the wool sales for the North Inland has been abandoned. Information received to-day by the .chairman of the Auckland Wo'olbrokers' Association stated that a meeting of wool 'buyers had been held at Christchurcii and buyers had decided not to attend any of the lirst sales fixed for the North Island. The first Auckland sale will be held on February 3, the Ante originally lixed for the second sale.
