WAIKATO MARKET. The Farmers' Co-operative Aurt.oneorinff Co., Ltd., reportAt Hamilton 011 11th November, we had a fair yarding of cattle, tho whole of which was satisfactorily cleared. The supply of beef was mtich greater than usual, in spite ,of which values advanced. Competition was good throughout, and a satisfactory sale resulted, practically everything being sold at satisfactory prices. On the same day, at Stratford, the Yards were well filled. Competition was particularly good for rows and young stock, and a. satisfactory clearance was effected. Prices for the classes mentioned showed a slight improvement.

At Inglewond on Wednesday thoro was a tery biff yarding, yearling and two-year-old hellers being entered in largo numbers. Competition was well maintained throughout the auction, and the built of the entry found fresh owners at satisfactory prices. LOAN & MERCANTILE REPORT. The X.Z. Loan and .Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd. (Hawera branch) report for tile week ending l;tih November, 1920: At Kakarantea a good demand accounted for practically the whole of a heavy yarding of alt classes of stock being sold uituer the hammer. We quote: J'at eows (medium) to £l3 lis, forward cows to £n ltis, fresh conditioned ditto £S, others at market value; maiden heifers £ i 10s to £lO, Jersey yearling heifers £ll lis, others lo £7 Gs; lf>months steers £3 to £!, Is, grade Jersey bull 20gns, Shorthorn bulls lo shorn hoggets 2.15, store pigs to £2 Us, weaners to 255.

On Wednesday, at Eltham, cattle were penned in avwago numbers. Bidding was not brisk, especially whit dairy cattle. A failentry of bulls came forward, but these were not sought after. We quote:—Store pigs to £3 lis tid, weaners 24s to 31s, forward eows to £ll ss, Stores £5 12s to £7 14s, yearling hellers, Jersey cross, £lO jus, others to £5 iiis, empty heifers to £B, Shorthorn bulls to £l4, other breeds to others at market values. Dairy cattle at late rates.

On Thursday, at Huwora, we had a good yarding of cattle. Competition was fairly keen throughout. Practically the whole entry was quitted before leaving the yards, and u satisfactory sale resulted. We quote :—Store pigs to £2 15s, ditto to 28s lid, boatfid 10s, forward cows to £!H 12s Gd, fat (medium) to £l3 10s, fat c, v.; £l4 15s, frteh conditioned cows to £8 its Gd, others at market value.
