SIGNS OF CHRIST'S COMING. THE POLITICAL SIGN. It is a strange thing that comparatively few Ministers and Christian teachers to-day have even yet seen any connection between the prophecies of Scripture and the remarkable events that are now taking place in the world. This week's cables tell us of the death of the King (if Greece. Prophetic students believe that a King of Greece has to play a leading part in the stupendous events which usher in the Great Tribulation, and the rise of the aiiii-Cbrist. Here we have the result of what will be produced by the big combines both political and ecclesiastical which arc now rapidly shaping into existence. The combinations of nations, of industries, of political powers, and of religious forces, into which every man must come or else he will not be able to live, to buy, or sell. The earth is filled with false hopes. The Word of God, which uncovers the future, is set aside, and fables are believed. The greatest comfort we know for these times is that the Coming of Christ must be near.
