SOLDIERS' VIEWS OK PENSIONS. APPEAL TO THE PUBLIC. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The executive of the Wellington Returned Soldiers' Association passed the following resolution unanimously; "That this executive views with finprise and indignation the totally inadequate provision made in the matter of increased pensions for dependents of fallen soldiers. It regards (he attitude as one of ingratitude and the statement of the Prime Minister that the country could not nll'ord more than £."i0,000 to provide for those who are suffering want through the loss of their wage-earners in the great war as one unworth\\of the country he represents, particularly in view of the fact that he recently, sanctioned a £600,000 bonus to thft/buttcr producers, It calls upon members of Parliament and the public generally to see that common justice is done to these needy people."
