Present Indications tiro tor strong and variable winds, with weaterlios provaillrg and bucking to Joutherlies northward of CookStrait, and north-east to south-east winds elsewhere; unsettled, cloudy and misty weather may be expected, with rain generally, and further heavy rain about Cook Strait and in the JSust Coast and southernmost districts of the South Island, with snow on higher levels The barometer is unsteady, but will be rising soon.
