ESTIMATE OF ENEMY FORCES. EXTENDING OVER 1009 MILES FRONT. Received Feb. 12, 7.30 p.m. London, February 12 The Morning Post's iPetrograd correspondent reports that it is officially estimated that the enemy forces cover a thousand miles. On the Russian front there is on the average a division to every six miles; on the French front, a division to every four miles; at Salonika a division to every fourteen miles. The latest German feace method is to send fire balloons over the Russian lines, and while blazing they release leaflets printed in Russian, Polish and Tartar. OFFICIAL REPORTS. London, February 11. A German official report says:—We lepakcd and ire pursuing the Russians northward of the Naroteh Lake and south-eastward of Zloczow. The French thrust north-west of Monastir and the British attack southwest of Doiran Lake failed. A wireless Russian official message says:—Germans, dressed in white, overalls, penetrated the trenches northward of Stanislov, but were driven out. We sank three schooners corn-laden on the Anatolian coast.
