At the Supreme Court, Stephen Fisher, a returned soldier, was acquitted on a charge of firing a rifle at Robert Alfred Elder, with intent to injure. John Poynter was found guilty, with a recommendation to mercy, on a charge of failing to disclose his true position to the Oilicial Assignee when adjudicated a bankrupt. AN AUCKLAND LIST Auckland, Last Night. At the Supreme Court, Samuel Green, on three charges of breaches of the Ilafikruptey Act, was ordered to come up for sentence when called upon. John Herbert fiporge Muclford, on a charge of theft as a servant, was committed to reformative treatment for eighteen months; Henry Hebrams A'Dcanct, 17 ,\ears of age, charged with carnally Knowing, was sentenced to a term of reformative treatnunt not exceeding four year-. James Riddling, charged with burglary at ,'Pukekohe, pleaded that iie was under the influence of drink at the time, and was admitted to probation for two years and prohibited.
