Auckland, Last Night. The weather was showery for the second day of the Racing Club's Spring Meeting. There was a fair attendance. The course was Satisfactory. The sum of £30,153 psssed through the ''tote," compared with £31,040 for the corresponding day of last year. The total returns for the meeting show an increase of £G457 over the receipts of the meeting of last year, In the Steeplechaw Mollyhawk fell on the flat, breaking a leg. An inquiry was held into mi accident in the Gordon Handicap, but the incident wa» deemed accidental. Results:— HUNTERS' STEEPLECHASE. Tiniroto (Roach), 1; 4 Kaiwawahaerc, 2; 1 Warhead, 3.
