A SERIES OF HEIGHTS CAPTURED BY THE RUSSIANS. Received Nov. 7, 11 p.m. London, Nov. 7. Russian, official:—Repeated enemy attempts west of the dominating heights east of Lipitzadolna were repulsed. Enemy attacks in the Carpathians were nullified. We carried a series nf heights. The Roumanians at Predeal were compelled to fall back a little southward, after a prolonged struggle, but- on the Juil River we pressed back the enemy northwards. Repeated Turkish attempts to attack in tile region of Conot were r.:../.»ted.
