GOLF.
STRATFORD CLUB. ! At the annua]'meeting of the Stratford Golf Club, the President's report showed that, despite difficulties caused by the war, the membership and returns wero well kept up, entries for tho matches (especially for the mixed foursomes) were good, and permanent improvements to a substantial amount were made on the course. The Club starts the season with £lB 17s in hand. Tho election of officers resulted as follows: President, Mr. C.-.Wright; vicepresidents, Messrs. J R. L. Stanford and H. E. Abraham; committee, Messrs. W H. H. Young, A. F. Grant, Peattie, and E. C. Robinson; Oaptain, H. E. Abraham; hon. auditor, P. Skoglund; secretary and treasurer, S. Spence aad E. S. Rutherfurd. The opening day of the season was fixed for Thursday, April 27. It was decided to keep in force the membership of all members who have enlisted.
