At the Wellington Magistrate's Court on Monday, Alexander Lindsay was lined £25 on a charge of being the occupier of premises in Vivian street wherein beer was sold, or in default one month in gaol. He was also fined £SO, or two months' imprisonment, for selling liquor without a license.
