FIRES.
BLAZE AT WANGANUI. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wanganui, March (I. •I. Shelley's Terminus Boardinghouse, a large old wooden building on the Quay, was gutted by fire this morning. 'lhe insurance on the furniture is £430 in the Royal Office. Miss Jordan, an inmate, tried to get out by the fire escape, but failed and jumped from a balcony. She was badly burned on the hands and face.
