ST. ANDREW'S CHURCH.
A SALE OF WORK. A sale of work was opened at St. Andrew's School-room yesterday in connection with the Ladies' Guild. The stalls, nine or ten of them, are laden with everything desirable, from ice-creams to fancy-work. Most of the articles are a distinct credit to the ladies who made them, and they are charmingly displayed on the different stalls, which are very prettily decorated and give the room a bright appearance. The goods on sale are all of a very useful character, and a visit to the sale is well worth while. The staJlholders are as follow: Flower Stall.—Mrs. Rimcock.
Sweets Stall. —Miss Jarvis. Fancy Stall.—Mrs. Sinclair ami Mrs. Fulton. Cake Stall. —Mrs. Jarvis. Toy Stall.—Junior Bible Class irirls. Soft Drinka and Jumble Stall.—Junior Bible Class boys. Produce Stall.—Mrs. H. Smart and Mrs". W. Bruce. Plain goods.—Mrs. Ogle and Mrs. Alien. Home Goods—Mrs. Austin and Mrs. Cocker.
Fruit Salad and lee-cream.—Mrs. fiiddy and Mrs. Evans. Afternoon Tea Committee.—Mesdames C'orney, McWhirter, A. Smart, Aslicr, and J)oile. and Miss Taunt. Mr. W. N. Ewing is the organising secretary. Tlie sale of work was opened at 2,.'i0 by the Rev. Mr. Cnlliford, and remained open last night and will be open to-mor-row afternoon and evening.
