There are many rumors that the situation between Bulgaria and Servia is growing worse. Servia is refusing to evacuate territory. TAKING PRECAUTIONS. Received 18, 11.30 p.m. Vienna, May 16. Austria and Hungary have occupied the Danubian Island of Adakaleh. They explain that it has been in Austrian military occupation since 1870, and owing to the proximity of the Hungarian frontier it would be dangerous if Servia possessed Sofia. s . TIRED OF WAR. A RESTLESS ARMY. Vienna, May 16. Peace is anxiously awaited, as, owing to the withdrawal of the male population, industries and agriculture are threatened with economic ruin. Most of the Bulgarian soldiers are small land-owners, and their return before the harvest is a vital necessity. The troops are becoming restless.
