PREFERENTIAL TARIFF
CANADA AND TILE WEST INDIES. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Ottawa, July 1. The agreement between Canada and the West Indies for a preference tariff has been published. It shows that important preference arrangements have been made between the two countries. Duties amounting to only four-fifths of those imposed on foreign goods have been granted to Canada by the West Indies on a large range of manufactured goods and natural products. Canada granis the West Indies the abolition of the duly on the characteristic products of the latter.
