A SHIPPING DISPUTE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Friday, the secretary of the Federated Seamen's Union reported to the Marine Department that the Federal-Houlder-Shircj steamer Durham shipped car«o at Duncdm and Bluff, and on arrival" here discharged it into the Sussex, of the same line. The secretary holds this is a breach of section 7o of the Shipping and Seamen's Act, which says that afl vessels employed in tho coastal trade shall pay the coastal rate of wanes The union holds that the Durham was trading coastline, and must pay the coastal rate, and asks the Marine Department to take action. After yesterday's tie between Wanganui, Wellington, and Hutt Bowline Clubs m the Duthie Cup competition there was a decided reverse of form this morning on the part of Hutt ana Wellington, the latter winning fairly easily by 42 to 23.
