A WANGANUI APPOINTMENT. At the last meeting of the Auckland Education Hoard the appointment of an assistant inspector who would .go the rounds of the various schools of the district supervising and helping teachers was made. The salary is £3OO, with annual increments of £2O and expenses. The position is designated assistant inspector and organiser of school work. Mr. W. Martin, first assistant of the Dunedm City School, was appointed visiting science master by the Wanganui Education Hoard. There were eleven applications.
