NAPIER WOOL SALE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Napier, Last Night. The third wool sale of this season's series took place yesterday, 10,014 bales being catalogued. Prices were well up to last sale rates. Coarse Lincolns and faulty wools showed a drop of from y 4 A to the bulk of the offering being medium «nd coarse crossbred*. Bright medium and coarse crossbreds brought 8d to IM, the same rates as at last sale; dingy crossbred, 7d to "'/.d, a drop of y,d; fine crossbred, lO'/od to 11'/.d. a slight decrease. Pieces and locks showed a decline of from %(! to %d. The top price was for fine halfbred, 12'/ 2 d, or '/ 2 d below 'the top price at last sale. Fine" Romney crossbred made IP/mI. A number of Romney-Lineoln clips sold well at from !)'/ 3 d to 10% d. There was an irregular market for lambs' wool, and many lots were passed in. Considering the weaker tone in the Bradford and Wellington reports, the sale was satisfactory.
