THE GOVERNMENT BONUS. The directors of the Taranaki Petroleum Company last night passed a resolution to notify the Government that it is their intention to put in a claimunder the terms of the amended oiler of a bonus for the production of crude petroleum—for £2,500, the first instalment of bonus, in respect of 230,000 gallons of oil from the bores at lloturoa.
