Admiral Sir Reginald Henderson favors the establishment of a Commonwealth naval college at Middlehead, Sydney. THE MOUNT LYELL MINE. Melbourne, January 0. ! The Mount Lyell return from De«ember 1 to December 28 inclusive is as follows: 27,022 tons of ore treated, also 25 tons purchased. The ore converters produced 027 tons of blister copper containing 009 tons copper, 44,830 ounces silver, and 878 ounces gold. WESTRALIAN POPULATION. Perth, January 0.
