A party of shooters discovered a shecpstealers' camp hidden in the dense scrub, with indications that operations on a very large scale had been carried on for years. Numbers of recently killed animals were found and the bones of a hundred others. Several hundred live sheep were in the vicinity. The greatest care was taken to hide the camp, which was surrounded by a high palisade of titree. A well-known resident of the district has been arrested.
