THE BERLIN RIOTS.
PATROLS HAVE ORDERS TO SHOOT. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright. Received 1, 9.10 p.m. Berlin, Xovember 1. Patrols, each of thirty strong, armed with carbines, are stationed in the disturbed districts. The police announce that if rioting is renewed, and the sabres prove unavailing, the patrol will lie down, t and every third man will fire into the legs of the mob. If the rioters still do not flee, the remainder of the patrol will fire. A special edition of the Voerwartz distributed in the disturbed districts urges the workmen and workmen's wives not to partake in the rioting or go into the streets out of curiosity.
