A GROWING BUSINESS. The business of "The Kash" has long outgrown its premises, and now Mr. Broome has secured the larare *liop adjoining. and formerly occupied by Miss Retford. Very extensive alterations are being made throughout, and it will probably be a week or two before the building is out of the joiners' and painters' hand*. Mr. Broome informed us yestevlav that when the alterations are completed he will have bv far the largest •premises in Taranaki devoted exclusively to men's wear, and one of the. largest in the Dominion. Amongst the extensions of the scope of his business is the addition of a boot department—for men's wear only. The mnmrfaeture of the increasingly popular "Prestwell" clothing, which has become quite a business in itself, necessitated more factory room, and this has 'been provided. A 1 peep into the ■workrooms yesterday showH some twelve or fifteen employees fullv employed, and Mr. Broome remarked that lie required a few more. All the machines are driven by electricity. It is very gratifying to 'be able to record this enterpri.se, and there is little doubt that it is fully warranted by the healthy condition and' fine of the district.
