Marshall Field, .junr., died in November, 1-905. The boys are aged sixteen and fourteen, respectively.- -Oil their twenty-fifth, thirtieth, -thirty-fifth, and fortieth birthdays they will receive, the elder £.90,001) and the younger £ 60;(K)0 each time. His estate totals the "insignificant sum of £6,840,000." Mr. Rogers —such is the explanation offered for the unexpected diminutiveness of the fortune was badly hit in the panic of March, 1907.
