The Vatican has protested against the Royal order issued at Madrid' authorising religious bodies in Spain to place on their buildings the symbols of their worship. REPLY TO PRUSSIA. Rome, June 14. The Vatican's reply to Prussia expresses regret at the unexpected effect; of the recent encyclical , and undertakes that German shall not publish the text. A KING'S INDIGNATION. Berlin, June 14. The King of Saxony, who is a Roman Catholic, has expressed to the Protestant members of the Government his regret that his efforts to protect religions peace should be thwarted by such sharp attacks on the Lutheran Church as the encyclical. He intends to write to the Pope on the subject.
