BUSH NURSING SCHEME

' MEMORIAL TO KING EDWARD. BRITISH PRESS OOMMENiDATION. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received June I<s, 0.30 a.m. London, June 16. The newspaper Standard of Empire strongly .supports the Australian bush nursing scheme as a memorial to King Edward. It says no tribute is more fitting to King Edward's life or more welcome to Queen Alexandra. King Edward's activities for the King's Hospital Fund proved that he preferred this scheme before any statues. Canada, •with similar needs, had accomplished much, but there was nothing finer than this scheme of Lady Dudley's. Sir George Reid, interviewed, detailed Lady Dudley's inception of the scheme, and said the association of the work with King Edward's memory was particularly 'happy and appropriate.
