A thousand female operatives in the Blackburn district have withdrawn from a trade union as a protest against the employment of funds for political purposes. Three thousand operatives at Burnley attended a meeting and ;recoinmended the Weavers' Association to withdraw from the Labor Representation Committee after the poll has closed.
